On a residential lane in Hannam-dong, Seoul, My Allée has turned a house its two founders once lived in into a "living room" in the middle of the city. The brand was started in Gwacheon in 2014 by twin sisters who had worked together at the flagship store of fashion designer Woo Young-mi. They choose every home piece with one belief in mind: good things make for a richer everyday life. Pieces from Belgian brands Domani, Serax and Henry Dean, and from Danish brands Maileg and Dybdahl, are set out around the living room and bedrooms as if someone really lives there, all echoing natural materials and textures. The space takes on a new theme each season, so every visit feels like stepping into a different home. On a day when you want to refresh your own living room, why not wander through slowly, as if you've been invited over to a friend's place? Focus Item — Henry Dean glass vases. Mouth-blown in a Belgian studio, these thick glass vases glow with soft color. A single stem is enough to change the feel of a room, and they capture My Allée's love of living close to nature.
