Seochon & Bukchon

Showroom

Somewhere in a Seochon alley, a hand-building ceramic studio that moved here from Yongsan. Fitting the director's path — going around ceramic workshops and naturally carrying it into a brand — the flow of glazes drawn from the color and texture of clothes glimpsed on the street seeps through the space. Forms that break from the standard and bold juxtapositions of color feel closer to looking into a wardrobe than a ceramics display case. From the signature boot vase to an incense holder shaped like a cowboy hat, objects that read as both material and humor fill the space. On a day you want to dress a vase in new clothes, why not stop by. • Focus Item — Boot vase. A signature object with an idea taken from a fashion item; even without flowers, its presence alone leaves a point in the space.
