Up on the second floor of a building on Hansupul-ro in Hallim, Jeju, this bright white space has high ceilings, a mezzanine and big windows that let in plenty of sunlight. On low tables across the wooden floor, there's room to breathe between neutral-toned ceramic bowls and mugs, candles and incense, cushions and stationery. The shop seems to take its name from Hansupul, the old name for Hallim ("supul" means a thicket or grove in Korean). Its motto is "things that resemble you," and it favors quiet pieces you'll want to keep and use for years over anything flashy. As you browse slowly with Hallim's scenery outside the window, your whole trip starts to feel a little more unhurried. On a day when you're hunting for small treasures to grow a little grove of your own, why not drop in? Focus Item — Layer Mug. One of Supul's most popular pieces, its soft, layered colors and textures fit right in with the simple, understated table the shop loves.
